| USDA Forest Products Laboratory Not for Sale | |
MADISON, WI.- Recent media reports regarding the sale of Federal properties, including some at the USDA Forest Products Laboratory (FPL), have been unclear. There are currently no Forest Products Laboratory land or buildings up for sale. FPL buildings on the White House listing of excess Federal properties (www.whitehouse.gov/issues/fiscal/excess-property-map) were demolished in 2010 as part of American Reinvestment and Recovery Act projects on the FPL campus. The Forest Products Laboratory will continue providing high-quality, unbiased scientific reporting of wood-based research as it has for over 100 years.
